Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of AkMe, operated by A4AI LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 17272953, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX (“A4AI LTD”, “we”, “us”). By signing in, you agree to them.

The service

AkMe is a personal health app: a journal and a team of AI agents that work with what you record in it. It is a private beta: accounts are created by invitation, features may change, and the service may be unavailable without notice.

Not medical advice

AkMe is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The agents are powered by language models: they can make mistakes, including with numbers. Do not change medication, ignore symptoms or delay seeing a doctor because of anything they say. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Your account

Keep your login details confidential and tell us if you think someone else has them. You must be at least 18 years old. Accounts are personal: one person per account.

Your data

You keep ownership of what you record and of what your devices send. You grant us a licence only to the extent needed to store it, show it to you and pass the necessary part to the AI providers that generate the agents’ answers, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can get a copy of it or delete it at any time by emailing us.

Connected services

When you connect a third-party device or service, its own terms apply to your account there. You can revoke our access at any time, in the app or on the provider’s side. If a provider changes or withdraws its API, the corresponding feature may stop working.

Acceptable use

• Do not try to access other people’s data or to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
• Do not use the agents to generate unlawful or harmful content.
• Do not resell access.

No warranty, limited liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and A4AI LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the agents’ output. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending your use of the service

You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend your account if you break these terms or put the service at risk. We may also end the beta or close accounts; we will tell you in advance by email or in the app, so that you can get a copy of your data first.
